"xxx" at the end of a letter?

i wrote this girl a short note for her birthday before she left for summer, and i put an "x" at the end. before she left, she dropped a note in my locker, and at the end put "xxx". is it just kind of friendly or could it mean more? we've made out before if that helps. thanks!
