Cant complete xp install?

ok well my hdd with windows 7 crashed so i got a new hdd. I initialized it and formatted to ntfs and its now online. i did this via sata docking station on a different pc. But anyways, when i put the xp disk in my pc, along with the hdd, windows setup cant find my hdd. But doing the same setup on a different pc, i can select my new hdd on the docking station and copy the install files to it, but when it gets to the point where you can restart it, it gives me a bsod with stop code 0x0000007b, so idk what to do. ive tried everything, any ideas? thanks
